LINDENHURST - Officials and residents are worried about coastal flooding and beach erosion as a two-part storm hits Long Island.
Village of Lindenhurst Emergency Manager Ray Fais says he's keeping his eye on the tide. He says streets near the water will likely flood by high tide on Thursday morning.

Bayville Mayor Doug Watson says he is watching the weather and has crews at the ready. The village was hit hard during Sandy, and the main road into Bayville is still closed following the superstorm.
