LONG BEACH - Police are warning residents in Long Beach to lock their cars after recent reports of people stealing things from inside unlocked vehicles. 

Police say around 3 a.m. last Friday they were notified of a suspicious group of people on West Walnut Street in Long Beach.     

Police say they found four kids who had stolen 45 different items out of various unlocked cars.
