MINEOLA - The Long Island Rail Road says it will be running a normal weekday schedule for Friday morning's commute.

Officials say the only issue that could slow down morning service is the possibility of re-freezing overnight.

The LIRR says it also expects to operate regular weekday train service east of Ronkonkoma on the Main Line and east of Speonk on the Montauk Branch.

The railroad canceled 18 eastbound trains during the evening rush hour due to weather-related problems.

LIRR officials are urging residents to allow some extra travel time in the morning.
