WOODBURY - ? The Long Island Rail Road has resumed modified service on all branches, except Long Beach, after it suspended service due to the nor?easter.

The LIRR is warning customers that they should expect some weather-related delays as well as longer waits and crowded cars resulting from reduced train capacity in the East River tunnels and heavy passenger volume system-wide. Service on the Long Beach Branch remains suspended due to damage sustained by Hurricane Sandy. Officials say LIRR employees are continuing to work around the clock to address power, signal and track issues on the Long Beach Branch. LIRR
