Morning peak service will be restored in West Hempstead.

WEST HEMPSTEAD - The Long Island Rail Road is restoring some service that was eliminated in 2010.

The service includes morning peak service from West Hempstead.

The 6:09 a.m. train from Long Beach to Atlantic Terminal will also be restored.

In addition, mid-day riders on the Ronkonkoma line have more trains and the 4:30 p.m. train from Hunterspoint Avenue to Montauk is restored to daily year-round service.
