BABYLON - The LIRR says trains are moving again this afternoon after the storm crippled certain branches during yesterday?s snowstorm.

LIRR is expecting little problems for commuters tonight during the evening rush.

This morning, trains were back on track with one cancellation and a few delays. Train service east of Ronkonkoma has been temporarily suspended due to high snow drifts.

During the storm yesterday, 49 trains were canceled during the morning rush and dozens were delayed by about 20 minutes.

LIRR officials say the cancellations and delays were due to blowing snow.
