HUNTINGTON - Long Island Rail Road employees saved the day after a commuter left her engagement ring on the train Tuesday. Brooke Bene says she took her two-carat diamond and sapphire engagement ring off to apply hand lotion and then forgot to put it back on. She realized shortly after that she lost her ring and called customer service. Two workers searched the train and found nothing, but conductor Tim Parrett wasn't about to give up. He eventually found the ring wedged between two seat cushions. Bene says the conductor and customer service agent who worked to find her ring will undoubtedly be invited to her wedding next year.To watch the full press conference with Bene, click iO Extra on Channel 612.
