WOODBURY - Officials are urging commuters to get home before the brunt of the storm hits tonight.

However, if you plan on taking the train home there will be extra Long Island Rail Road service.

The LIRR says 8 extra trains will be heading home from the city starting this afternoon.

The extra service will be between 2:09 p.m. to 3:48 p.m.

The LIRR has warned service could be delayed or even suspended once snow totals hit 10 inches.
