LINDENHURST - that the incident happened in a classroom.Suffolk County Police say they responded to a call from Lindenhurst High School on Monday. They say they arrested a student and charged him with assault. Meanwhile, the district says it suspended the student for five days, pending a superintendent hearing, which should happen sometime this week. But Meyer's parents say that is not enough.Meyer's parents are concerned about their teen's safety when he returns to school. They say the principal told them he could provide a security guard to shadow their son.Meanwhile, Meyer seems grateful to be alive, thanking everyone for their support through a home video.
