LINDENHURST - Lindenhurst residents attended a meeting tonight in hopes of keeping a fast food chain out of their neighborhood.

Many residents say they do not want Arby's to open up in the neighborhood. The residents are concerned the fast food chain will bring more noise, smells, traffic, garbage and rodents.

Arby's is looking to open up on Sunrise Highway, replacing Bills Vacation Trailers and joining other businesses in the commercial strip.

Neighbors presented a petition to the board last month to block the restaurant. The board still has to approve the plan.
