HUNTINGTON STATION - The man convicted of killing a Huntington Station father in front of his 17-year-old son was given the maximum sentence today of 25 years to life behind bars.

Police say 26-year-old Ralph Guerrier, of Huntington Station, shot and killed Geremias Caceres during a robbery attempt in Jan. 2010.

Guerrier's co-defendant, who cooperated with prosecutors, was sentenced to 15 years to life in state prison.
