WESTBURY - Last-minute Christmas shoppers flooded malls across Long Island Thursday, hoping to find the perfect gift.

By Thursday night, the Target in Westbury was still seeing customers coming in as it neared closing time.

When it came to choices, many shoppers told News 12 that their purchase were last-ditch efforts to get gifts in time for the big day.

Others said they were taking advantage of additional sales, and had completed most of their shopper over the Thanksgiving holiday.
