PATCHOGUE - Residents and officials across Long Island are preparing for the big storm Hurricane Sandy is expected to bring. While it's too early to know what damage Sandy may have in store, Long Islanders told News 12 Long Island they're taking this storm seriously, hitting the stores to stock up on supplies.
