EAST MEADOW - Long Islanders are trying to make the best of the frigid weather.

Some residents aren't enjoying this week's cold temperatures. Lorri Guido says the weather is making her cranky, but she says she has been using the time to study and get house work done.

Others don't mind the cold and snow so much. For 4-year-old Reese Michaels, there's nothing better than sledding at Eisenhower Park.

News 12 Meteorologist Samantha Augeri says Long Island can expect slightly warmer weather Sunday and Monday, with temperatures inching back up to the 30s.
