LIer recalls Triple Crown title that got away

GARDEN CITY - I'll Have Another is the horse that everyone will be watching at the Belmont Stakes on Saturday - he's already won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness, and has a shot at becoming the first Triple Crown winner in 34 years. One of the people who will be rooting for I'll Have Another is Michael Iavarone. He knows all too well how much pressure there is: his horse, Big Brown, nearly took the Triple Crown four years ago.Big Brown seemed destined for history with two down and one to go. Unfortunately for Iavarone, his dream turned into a nightmare when Big Brown didn't even finish at the Belmont Stakes. His rear shoe was stepped on, and combined with a previous injury, Big Brown suffered the only loss of his career. Iavarone says he thinks I'll Have Another has a very good shot to win.
