ROSLYN - A Long Island native is dealing with his newly found fame after winning the heart of the star of the TV show "The Bachelorette."

JP Rosenbaum says it was actually one of his friends who nominated him for the show online and when producers picked him, he thought he would lose quickly and be home in a week.

Rosenbaum spent 10 weeks wooing Ashley Hebert and eventually won her over. Hebert plans to move to New York in a few weeks to be with Rosenbaum, who says they'll take the rest of their relationship slow and try to stay out of the spotlight.
