WOODBURY - Police have ordered drivers to stay off of the Long Island Expressway, Sunrise Highway and all parkways in Suffolk County due to treacherous conditions.

Officials say that the major arteries in Suffolk are to be used as "snow emergency routes" for emergency vehicles only. The closures will remain in effect until further notice.

County Executive Ed Mangano's office says the LIE is still open in Nassau.
