LAKE RONKONKOMA - A Lake Ronkonkoma woman accused of calling 911 and making a fake bomb threat on a plane could face 10 years behind bars.

Mary Purcell admits she called an Arizona airport back in 2011 and told officials her boyfriend was talking about blowing up a Southwest jet.

Purcell said she did it because she didn't want her family flying on the 10th anniversary of 9-11, according to Newsday.
