WOODBURY - An Island Park man has been charged with DWI in connection with a deadly crash in Queens.

The NYPD says Kyung Song, 29, was driving his Porsche on Sanford Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Friday when he slammed into a parked school bus. The impact caused the passenger side of the car to cave in and sheared off the roof.

Police say an unidentified female passenger in Song's car died at the scene. Authorities have not revealed her connection to Song. A witness at the scene described her as in her 20s.

Song survived the crash with just minor injuries. Court documents show he was previously charged with drunken driving in 2008. He pleaded guilty and paid a $1,000 fine in that case.
