Families say they found John Robert Powers talent agency in Westbury shut their doors after they brought their children for their weekly acting lessons.

Many parents say they spent thousands of dollars on the acting lessons for their children.

"I was upset and disappointed. I thought I was going to be an actor," said student Katiana Pierre.
