CENTRAL ISLIP - Today is a special day at Bethpage Park in Central Islip, as the Long Island Ducks host their annual News 12 Long Island Day.

Entertainment and traffic reporter Elisa DiStefano is the guest of honor this year and she'll be throwing out the first pitch tonight at 5:05 p.m.

Ducks General Manager Mike Pfaff says DiStefano will also be on hand before the game, signing autographs. After the game, kids are invited to run the bases.

The first 1,500 fans at tonight's game against York will receive an Elisa DiStefano bobble head, courtesy of News 12 Long Island.
