WOODBURY - Dads across Long Island celebrated Father’s Day in a variety of ways under sunny skies on Sunday.

Alexander, 6, and his dad Jack Bahwah, of Levittown, spent the day at Cantiague Park in Hicksville, where they enjoyed hanging out in the sun.

Others, like the Berg boys of Wantagh, went to the driving range to launch some golf balls.

Craig Block, of Jericho, was happy to have his 18-year-old son Jared home from school so they could share each other’s company.

And while Father’s Day may be filled with cliché gifts, many said the real gift was spending time with loved ones.

“Watching them grow up before me, it’s an awesome feeling,” Bahwah told News 12. “I look forward to each moment.”
