NEW ZEALAND - ? Police say a Long Island college student was carelessly driving when a car veered off the road and killed three of his classmates in New Zealand. Reports say Stephen Houseman, 20, went before a judge in Aukland this morning.

Police claim Houseman?s careless driving caused the deaths of three of his Boston University classmates last week. The students were going on a hiking trip when their van went off the road and flipped over. Police do not think alcohol or drugs were a factor.
