LEVITTOWN - Thousands of residents are still in the dark and searching for answers almost two weeks after Sandy hit Long Island.

Levittown residents tell News 12 Long Island that there is no communication with LIPA and nobody is giving them answers they can trust.

News 12 Long Island made contact with LIPA around 7 a.m. today, asking them to help the residents. About two hours later, crews were in the neighborhood.

Workers came to tell the people of Sparrow Lane they will work in Levittown today, until their lights go back on.
