Lawmakers vote to restore funding to Foley Nursing Home

YAPHANK - ? Suffolk County lawmakers have voted to restore funding to the Foley Nursing Home in Yaphank.

Last night, the legislature voted to override County Executive Steve Levy?s veto that cut off the cash flow to the facility.

Suffolk is trying to sell the nursing home because Levy says it costs too much to run.

The nursing home will now have funding until the end of the year.

Levy says the decision leaves a $17 million hole in the budget.
