FARMINGDALE - Two Suffolk lawmakers are pushing to find out more about the baby found buried in a family’s Farmingdale yard.

The lawmakers have requested details from Suffolk and state police about the death of Justin Kowalczik.

As News 12 has reported, the 17-month-old’s body was dug up in Farmingdale this past October.

According to officials, the boy could have been buried there for more than two years.

Officials say Robert Rodriguez has been named a person of interest in the case.

Rodriguez was the boyfriend of the boy’s mom and had been watching him.

So far, no arrests have been made and no cause of death has been determined.
