SELDEN - A young Marine paralyzed by a hit-and-run driver is hoping to find the person responsible.

Hundreds gathered in Massapequa over the weekend for a fundraiser for Lance Cpl. Billy Ventura.

Ventura was struck by an SUV on Route 25 in Selden on July 3.

Ventura is now paralyzed from the waist down.

Ventura is hoping cops find the driver of the large silver or grey SUV.
