KINGS POINT - Fire crews were out in Nassau County once again this morning to make sure a weekend-long brush fire in Kings Point is fully extinguished.

Fire officials tell News 12 that the fire that was burning for two days is finally out.

Officials say it took more work than usual to get the job done because the fire was burning underground.

Fire crews had to use shovels and rakes to dig the fire out and put the flames out with water they pumped in.
