? A jury will decide the fate of a man accused of a deadly DWI crash as he tried to flee from cops in June.

FREEPORT - ? A jury will decide the fate of a man accused of a deadly DWI crash as he tried to flee from cops in June. Cops say Lloyd Williams, of Hempstead, got into a fight at Phase Bar and then took off in his car.Police followed Williams through Freeport and stopped when they saw the accident.

Cops say the driver of the car that split in two was 24-year-old Chad Whethers, of Roosevelt. Whethers was pronounced dead at the scene.

The jury will decide if the case was murder, a rare charge in a situation like this. According to police, Williams drove three times the legal limit and had marijuana in his blood. Williams was originally charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI. Williams faces 25 years to life in prison.
