QUEENS - A Queens high school teacher from Long Island who is accused of repeatedly having sex with a 16-year-old student was arrested for a second time after new allegations involving another student surfaced Wednesday.

One day after being charged with raping a 16-year-old wrestler at Grover Cleveland High School, 39-year-old Joy Morsi has been charged over a second alleged sex act with a second student, also 16. According to court documents, Morsi performed oral sex on the student twice last Saturday on school property.

Prosecutors say they have texts between the teacher and the second victim, but wouldn't elaborate on the nature of those texts. Queens District Attorney Richard Brown says word spread quickly about what Morsi allegedly did with the second student. He says fellow school teachers reported the incident.

“When teachers end up abusing their authority and positions as teachers to endanger the welfare of students, it's always troubling,” said Brown.

Morsi has been removed from the classroom. Authorities say she's married and that her husband is a teacher at the same school. She is also a mother.

The New York City Department of Education released a statement saying, "We find these claims disturbing and reprehensible and she will remain reassigned far from any student and the school pending a criminal investigation. We will work closely with the school to ensure they are given any needed support."

Morsi was charged with sexually abusing the second student. She was ordered held on $25,000 bail and is due back in court on June 23.
