RIVERHEAD - A Mastic man has been arrested for allegedly bringing a machete to the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead.

Police say John Medina, of Mastic, had the machete in his backpack and was threatening to hurt people.

According to police, they say they got a call shortly before 1 p.m. yesterday.

The 32-year-old is now facing charges of making a terroristic threat as well as weapons charges.
