NEW JERSEY - New York Jets star and Freeport native D'Brickashaw Ferguson made his retirement official Thursday.

Ferguson held a news conference about his retirement at the Jets headquarters in New Jersey.

Many of his former teammates were on hand as he met the media for the final time.
