BROOKLYN - Jason Kidd is looking forward to the challenge of becoming the Brooklyn Nets' head coach.
Kidd was announced as the new coach today at the Barclays Center.
Kidd, who retired 11 days ago, has no coaching experience, but says he has 12 years of notes he's been keeping.
The future hall of famer says he will be a patient coach and believes he and the team will grow together.
The Nets won 49 games this season.
