HOLBROOK - ? Some Long Island residents say they were stuck in the snow after the blizzard, and they are blaming it on the plows.

Holbrook residents on Flintridge Drive say they did not see a single plow until Monday night.

Some other Town of Islip residents say they were not plowed until almost noon yesterday.

One official says all the town layoffs left Islip with too few workers to handle the cleanup.

Town Supervisor Phil Nolan says Islip had all its equipment out after the blizzard and used 140 outside contractors.
