OLD WESTBURY - The candidates for Nassau County executive squared off Tuesday night in a heated debate in Old Westbury.
Incumbent Ed Mangano went up against Tom Suozzi at the Wheatley School, where both hopefuls were asked about the county's police force, finances and budget among other topics.
Mangano promised to run on his record of not raising taxes, while Suozzi accused his opponent of bankrupting the county.
