Lifeguards warn residents hitting the beach this holiday weekend to be aware of dangerous waters due to Hurricane Arthur.

Arthur, which has now been downgraded to a tropical storm as it heads to Canada, has left behind dangerous rip currents and high surf advisories. Lifeguard Cary Epstein says rip currents will be present along South Shore beaches over the next few days.
