Huntington Station school holds meeting on heroin epidemic
HUNTINGTON STATION - Residents in Huntington Station held a meeting Tuesday night to speak about battling the current heroin epidemic seen across Long Island.
Members of the community, including ones affected firsthand by the drug, attended South Huntington School District's Heroin Summit.
Experts say heroin use on Long Island has been on a rapid increase, causing great concern for school districts.
