HUNTINGTON STATION - Huntington Station residents are asking town officials to put the brakes on a used car dealership whose owner is constructing a new building without permits. Hot Deals Depot is located on the corner of Depot Road and East 17th Street, and residents say owner John Mastroianni has been issued a temporary restraining order to cease business. Town of Huntington spokesman A.J. Carter says the owner recently put up steel beams and is building a new structure without the proper credentials. Mastroianni's lawyer says the lot is a zoned, commercial property and that the town has rejected his attempts to file for permits.
