BETHPAGE - Police are investigating the third burglary to strike the quiet community of Bethpage in as many days, putting residents on edge.

Armand Cipullo says someone broke into his Bethpage home in broad daylight yesterday, getting away with valuables and an air conditioner.

As News 12 Long Island has reported, on Wednesday, a house off West Millpage Drive was burglarized. Police say a man came through the bedroom window and woke up a sleeping woman, who then chased out the robber.

Just a few hours earlier and several houses away, police say Andrew Ford's home was broken into. Since the house was equipped with an alarm system and motion detectors, the burglar got away empty-handed.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-224-TIPS.
