NESCONSET - Friends and loved ones said a final farewell to a Smithtown High School East student killed by a subway train.

Liam Armstrong was killed in a Manhattan subway station last week after attempting to cross the tracks on his 18th birthday.

A wake was held over the weekend at Maloney Funeral Home in Hauppauge.

Services were held at Parish of the Holy Cross in Nesconset.
