WOODBURY - Lawmakers on Capitol Hill discussed government response to Hurricane Sandy this morning.

House Republicans held a hearing with officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Housing Department and the Army Corps of Engineers where they compared notes on how each handled the storm.

They also heard from officials involved in recovery efforts during Hurricane Katrina and Irene to learn how to be more efficient in the future.
