HEMPSTEAD - Hempstead Town Clerk Mark Bonilla faced new charges today in a sexual harassment case. Prosecutors added a second count of official misconduct, along with charges of coercion and petit larceny. This all stems from an investigation that says Bonilla tried to coerce a town employee into giving him photos of a female coworker, who had accused him of sexual harassment. Despite calls for his resignation, Bonilla's lawyer says he will not be stepping down. He also has no plans to take a plea deal. Both parties will be back in court on Tuesday.
