HAUPPAUGE - A Hauppauge woman is facing animal cruelty charges after authorities say her horses were found emaciated.

Officials say 61-year-old Helen Malazzo kept three horses at a boarding facility on South Street in Manorville.

News 12 is told that there was no running water on the property.

The animals were seized by the SPCA and are now in foster care.
