WAINSCOTT - A public hearing will take place tomorrow about the plan to ban noisy East End helicopters during summer weekends.

In August, angry East Hampton residents complained about constant helicopter noise as visitors go back and forth to New York.

There is a plan in place now to ban all helicopters on weekends and to limit other noisy aircraft.

The public hearing will be held at 4:30 p.m. at LTV Studios in Wainscott.
