WOODBURY - The New York Institute of Technology may not have any former basketball players in the NBA, but it does have one on a very select team who got the chance to come home this weekend.Kirk Stewart, better known as "Zeus," is a rookie member of the Harlem Globetrotters. He says the team "saw my physique and saw how hard I dunk and said it was like the God throwing down thunder."Stewart's damaging dunks made him a two-time All-Conference player at the Old Westbury school and he returned there to show current students what he does best.Stewart called the school a special place that provided many fond memories and lessons that serve him well every time he puts on the Globetrotter uniform.
