WOODBURY - A woman who was convicted of stealing from several Hamptons businesses was sentenced today to two-to-four years behind bars.

Prosecutors say Nydia Vega, 63, lived the high life in Westhampton Beach by writing $50,000 worth of bad checks to East End businesses back in 2009.

The so-called "high society con-woman" made off with everything from pricey lingerie to patio furniture, while attending exclusive events and parties.

Vega was also ordered to pay restitution to each of the scammed merchants.
