HUNTINGTON STATION - Police are trying to track down the gunman who shot and injured a man in Huntington Station Saturday night.

Police say Luis Hernandez was shot in the leg on 11th Avenue.

The 21-year-old had been standing in front of a house when the shot rang out.

Hernandez was hospitalized in stable condition.

There is no word on a possible motive in the case. Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
