Gun threat causes scare at Hewlett H.S.
Officials say a note was sent to the school that claimed a student had a gun. (January 18, 2013)
HEWLETT - An anonymous threat caused a scare for students at Hewlett High School today.
There was a visible police presence there this morning after officials say a note was sent to the school that claimed a student had a gun.
Police say they did not find a gun, and students went back to their normal class schedules.
