BABYLON - Seven local towns are teaming up with the Long Island Green Homes Consortium in a move that may lead to lower electric bills.

The group is offering homeowners rebates, energy audits and low-cost financing to make homes more energy-efficient.

Babylon residents Mark Donnelly and Amy Dragani say the program helped them reap substantial savings on their bill.
