Grateful LIers thank firefighters with refreshments

Suffolk residents grateful to the hundreds of firefighters who staved off a potential catastrophe are showing their appreciation the old-fashioned way: by bringing them refreshments.

MANORVILLE - Suffolk residents grateful to the hundreds of firefighters who staved off a potential catastrophe are showing their appreciation the old-fashioned way: by bringing them refreshments. Workers at East Wind Hotel and Catering Hall brought food and beverages today to the brush fire command post in Manorville.
